I grew up with yes ma'am and sir and no ma'am and sir, and I am familiar with every tone and nuance of the aforementioned. So Dean's level gaze and his tiny nod of acceptance was all, "You're gonna stay here and bait the wraith and give me time to get to your folks and save them. I get it. I'd do the same thing.
