greetings and salutations

Hi guys. Sorry I've been sort of thin on the ground lately. Family health issues and holiday prep have kept me busy and used up most of my energy, so frivolous post-age has not been a thing, and I can't think more deeper than frivol, at this point.
I hope your holidays are approaching at less than a thundering menace, that you're all ready to consume holiday food and drink and be convivial and hearty and merry with your nearest and dearest--even if your dearest is the cat. Cats count, they do. Dogs too, and other critters dear to our hearts.
For me, I'd best get back to it. The tree is zhujhed, but needs ornaments. And those fuzzy stockings and other tschotchkes aren't going to fling themselves onto the bookshelves and tables. Jingle, everybody!

Date: 2013-12-20 01:54 pm (UTC)Good luck with the ornaments; I'm sure all the decorations will be loveIy. I, of course, have none, due to cursed kittiez, but at least I have my tree at work.
Stay warm in the snow. We must have 1/4" here! Alarm, alarm!

Date: 2013-12-20 05:53 pm (UTC)Supposed to change to rain this afternoon, though. Neighbor scraped the side streets, which did nothing but remove the inch or so of driveable snow and leave wet slush behind to freeze. Thanks, guy! not. Ah well, grown boys and their toys, right?
You stay safe and toasty, you and the kitties. Happy Merry! Your card came, thank you, so pretty! ...You are aware the hub's family keeps Old Christmas, right? Extends the joys of the season (and provides a grace period for getting out Christmas cards)!

Date: 2013-12-27 02:48 am (UTC)My sore throat continued into today, so the girls and I stayed home. Feeling a bit perkier now, so I guess I'll have to trudge in tomorrow.
