This is Hippocrates (first, do no harm), one of my artists' bears, and Virgil (named after the chimp in an old Matthew Broderick movie), the 1970s vintage Hermann chimpanzee. Devoted friends.

Yeah. *grin* Hippocrates is my cat stand-in. The size of a small cat, his body is pellet-filled and weighty, and he's loose-stuffed so he molds into your hands, or against you, when you hold him.

He doesn't purr, though.
