A discussion elsewhere of fidget toys reminded me I have fidget jewelry. These two pieces, primarily.































The ring is usually worn on my thumb or forefinger. The locket is on a nearly waist-length chain. At least I manage to hang onto these--I tend to lose the fidget toys.

Fidget toys?

Here are some examples. I *love* the cube--buttons to push, switches, toggles, gearwheels to turn, a depression for your fingertip to stroke, a wheel to turn with a finger, a rollerball--texture and movement galore! Fidgets help ASD and ADHD folks focus, lower stress. Give me something to fidget with and I can actually focus and work better. Some people stim. I fidget. (spinny, spinny, spinny, spinny...)

Omgosh, something like these toys would have saved so much of my stuff from my brother when we were kids. He once took apart my alarm clock, just to keep busy, never reassembled it, just stacked the bits together so it looked like it was one operational piece. Idjit.
