Oh, the necklace thing. There was a face-to-face in Atlanta for a group I've been part of since early days of Buffy. After most of the folks went home, my hostess and a couple of other crafty types stayed, went bead shopping, and one of us broke out the animal netsukes and satin cording she'd brought. This rabbit, a pair of rats (my Chinese astrological sign), and an owl became necklaces which I wear often.

Random shiny doesn't stick. Every bit that stays has meaning or memory, sometimes both.

If I can find them among the junk mail, grocery store and steam cleaning circulars, projects abandoned and not tidied away, etc.

But thank you. I do like my shinies!

18292 wc, notes on one scene to expand for the draft, copy doc and clean up notes and comments, copy completed form to email, attach clean doc copy, hit 'send' and hope I didn't screw up.

And I really should get up to pee and grab a tea and some foodlike substance before doing any of that.

You're almost there! *pompoms* I'm sure you won't screw it up you've come this far, though I get the last minute nerves. When I hit send on email with fic attached I panic that I'm sending it to the wrong person :/ But yeah, go you. ♥

I've edited the book, but am stuck on the blurb. It's frustrating, I can write a 128k novel and struggle on a few sentences.

Oh I know, summaries are the worst. Give me tonight to get this in and I'll read what you sent me, and see if I can write a juicy blurb.

I've basically blurbed Amazon reviews for friends' books-what's this blurb for, so I can tailor the slant? (And do I need an updated copy? The one I have is a couple of months old)
