I'm friends locking my fic, and in the next little while I'll also lock my LJ. Just a precautionary measure. All posts and comments are backed up at Dreamwidth, and my fic is on AO3, so anyone looking for me can find me either of those places.

I have some paid time here at LJ, so for at least that long I'll be reading my flist and commenting on your posts. But this is probably my last post in my own journal.

I've been here 14 years this month. This sucks so hard. I love y'all. Come see me at DW--it's a nice neighborhood, you might consider moving yourself.

Sad your leaving I don't think we're mutua. Friends here so I will find you on dw for sure I am not moving but I am backed up so I will see you there

I'm not leaving LJ either but DW will be a backup place for me in case things do take a turn for the worse but right now I am not leaving. I just wish all my tags would show up when I import for LJ.

They do! Mine are all there. The differnce is how you access them. I have nearly 200 tags, which is way too much, but LJ spoiled me. What I do when I post is open another tab, go to my DW profile, and at the top, under "Profile' are a few stats. The number of tags is there in a link. Click the link, it takes you to your own journal page and a list of all your tags, fic first, then in alpha order.

It's clunkier than your tags page appearing when you make an LJ post, but I just open a new tab, go to my profile, click tabs, and then run down the list and type in the first one I want. DW picks up and auto types in the tag, but keys off the first letter so you have to keep typing sometimes for it to choose and enter the right one. Comma, space separate, and start typing the next tag. If you have fourteen and can remember them all, you won't have to open your journal page in a new tab to select the tags you want to use.

But yes, DW does import your tags if you tell it to.

Oh that makes sense, I have 78 tags so maybe that's why they're not showing up on my journal page, neither is anything from my sidebar.
