Pretty damn old. Old enough to keep that number to myself.

Not really my thing.

Ever hit a deer?
My MiL lives in wooded farmland rapidly becoming close-built suburban communities, with increasingly high traffic. Nearly bumper to bumper one weekend night after dusk three does tried to cross the road between cars traveling 40+ mph in both directions. The first two made it, the third got hit in the rump by an oncoming car. It whipped her around and the left front end of our car smacked her full in the face. There was nothing we could do and traffic on our bumper, so we kept going. I've rarely felt so futile.

Ridden in an ambulance?
No.

Sang karaoke?
Not formally, with the machine and mike, etc.

Ice skated?
No ice where I grew up. But I was training for roller dance competition when I frelled my knee and had to quit.

Ridden a motorcycle?
Not one of my goals.

Stayed in hospital?
A week for the aforementioned frelled knee.

Skipped school?
Picture this: school in the middle of miles of cow pasture and cropfields. Didn't drive, neither I nor my friends had access to a car. The point of skipping is to go do something fun, right? Hiking for miles to get to a crossroads gas station seemed not worth the effort.

Dr.'s office confirming appointment.

Last text from?
Son's gf.

Watched someone die?
My FiL, my son, my mom.

Pepsi or Coke?
Club soda.

Favourite pie?
If you can somehow combine coconut cream custard with French chocolate silk? Yeah, that'd be it.

Favourite pizza?
Thinnest cracker crust, chopped garlic in a light coat of olive oil. Spinach, mushrooms, black olives, Italian sausage, fennel, sage, and oregano, all the cheese you can throw at it.

Favourite season?
Spring, everything coming back to life--no, wait--ACHOO! Summer, enh, just kill me now. Fall! cool, color, invigorat--ACHOO! Winter, dreary, rainy, grey, short hours of daylight. But hey, on the plus side, no ACHOO!

Broken bones?
Every joint -- well, both shoulders, knees, right hip dislocate with ridiculous ease, but I've only ever broken small bones in my left foot.

Received a ticket?
I refuse to answer that question on the basis it may incriminate me. I used to scare my teenaged sons' friends. NASCAR country, don't forget.

Favorite color?
Blues of every shade, greens, browns, greys.

Sunset or sunrise?
I'm riddled with dread as the sun begins to sink out of sight, in atavistic fear of the dark. I don't see well at the best of times--dark makes it all scarier. I don't sleep well in the dark. First faint fingers of dawn and the birds wake up? I'm out like a light--it's safe to sleep in the light.
