Having been an unwitting victim of being named without consideration of what the initials might spell, though not as cringe-worthy as some, I wonder if the Padaleckis are aware their second son's initials spell "ASP"?

"Don't touch that towel, it's for the snake."

Oooh! High School: And this is Shep.

"Call me Snake."

My daddy always called me Snake. I thought it was pretty cool. I've always thought of using that as the title of a short story, but nothing else has come to me yet.

Love it! It does sound badass. And it's nowhere near as bad as the initials of a boy I dated in high school whose name was Neil O'Brien - poor kid went the whole way through school being called NOB...and don't get me started on a guy I worked with who confused me by refusing point blank to have his name Michael be shortened to Mike, until I found out his last name was Hunt. Ouch!

PS: I had no idea that his son's name is Austin, I thought his first and only name was Shepherd.
