Three positive things, day four

fufaraw1. Oh joy, oh rapture! The digger people have finished trenching from the new water line on the street to the house. DH unstacked the low wall and moved the plant pots, removed the clean gravel to the wheelbarrow and cut the landscape cloth and folded it aside neatly. Once the line's laid and connections finished, he can put everything back the way it was--neatly. They thanked him profusely.
2. One of the workers brought his Aussie cattle dog with him--instantly obedient and happy to be included in the proceedings. Dog got to crawl under the house and was gleefully sniffing at mole and gopher scents and who knows what else. DH asked and got him a bowl of water, which he slurped up half of, immediately. We don't have animals in our life right now, so it was fun to see the dog enjoy the day.
3. My beloved flowered green leggings are so worn they're indecent. But my huge green t-shirt covers me halfway to knees, so I can wear them anyway. Comfy! Every time I consign them to the laundry I mutter a silent hope I'll get to wear them, "just one more time!" So far, so good, knock wood.
