apologies

I feel the need to say sorry for having just disappeared, lately. I'm woefully behind on my friends list, and haven't had two brain cells to rub together to make a spark to post anything here, either. Illness, and death, and that sweet seductive black dog--some of y'all know how that goes.

But I'm working on convincing myself I feel better, and I have a sweet beta gig at the moment, and I've got two timestamps--or maybe one, combined, and a sequel simmering away. The sequel's back burnered, but I've been poking at the timestamps, and may just get that posted and out of mind before hunkering down on the BB draft.

I write at the pace of glaciers anyway, so I do appreciate the patience of Readers Who Wait. There should be a club--or at least a patch, right? And a motto, "to those who wait, reward!" At least, sometimes.

I'm working on being more present, and engaged. I miss youse guys.

I know exactly how you feel - been there myself, lately. It sucks! But yeah - all you can do is push against it.

Hallo back! I hope your hard drive woes have been resolved. Bad enough the brain hard drive goes squeeeeee, but the laptop should pick another time to do that, too!

Sadly, they are not. It's toast. Sending it off to a good friend who can, hopefully, pull the stuff off it i need, and then needing to order a new one.

I have to take my tower to a friggin *repair shop* because we can't get the stupid drive out. It's insane. There are no screws left! Nothing! It should just slide out! Stupid thing.

Sorry things have not been good for you, sweetie.

No worries about the writing, that's for sure. I still haven't read any 2014 BBs. They're all sitting in a nice folder for me. Maybe I'll even have read yours by the time the timestamps are done. :) I am a very bad friend.
