Date: 2015-06-21 08:43 am (UTC)I think first season had to be the biggest shock, mainly because it was completely unresolved, and we had no way of knowing whether the show would be renewedm so it really made a huge impression. And purely from an emotional standpoint, I hated fifth season. I resist very hard the idea that life is a "test", or that difficult events are "tests." Because what do you get when you succeed at such a test--well, Sam got to go into the cage in hell with two pissed off archangels for eternity, good job there, Sam! I saw his bravery and sacrifice, but the scales didn't balance for me. They still don't.
11. If you could bring back any character, would you? If so, whom?
My first instinct, just because I miss him so, would be Bobby. But I think his death was earned, and it cost Sam and Dean a lot, so I wouldn't bring him back. I would bring Ellen back, though. And Victor. And Rufus.
22. Did you like the first or second Ruby better?
Honestly, I never liked Ruby.1, and I thought it was the actress, until No Rest for the Wicked, when Katie played Lilith--then I realized it was the character as written that I couldn't like. I *liked* Ruby.2 better, but I didn't trust her, either. Actually, I kind of liked the interim Ruby in I Know What You did Last Summer. I'd like to have seen her for a longer period.
27. Which episode is the scariest to you? (Horror-movie type scary)
You're gonna laugh when I tell you horror is SO not my thing. I hate and avoid horror movies, and I noped out the night SPN premiered. It was Dean with Lucas in Dead in the Water a few weeks later that pulled me in, because this show was obviously about more than horror. I guess if I have to choose one, it would be the Ghostfacers one, done with hand held cameras, because there was a more realistic edge to it. Or Time is on My Side, with the creepy Doc Benton.
