OH was just back from a grocery run, stacking stuff on the bar preparatory to putting it in the fridge or the pantry. As I walked past I scooped up a can of peanuts.

"I'll just be taking these peanuts."

He pulled his wallet out of his pocket and held it out to me.

"And whatever cash you got."

I took it, and kept walking.

Can you eat peanuts? I would have thought that was something that was a problem for you. Glad it's not--peanut butter is a very important part of life.

I *can* eat peanuts, in fact they're one of my few indulgences. See, with peanut butter, you need a medium, and I don't do bread and crackers. But a handful of peanuts--regular roasted, salted, because while I'm health conscious, I'm no fool--is my happy place. Fave thing? One at a time, whole peanuts, split into halves with teeth and delicately munch one half at a time, chewing up all the crumbs before I reach for another single peanut. It takes a while to get through a handful that way, and I enjoy every minute.
