Oh beloveds and I can get up some decibels, never fear.

My issue is my over-reaction to sudden unexpected random and/or sustained noise. A former bookstore boss finally gave me control of the in-store music while I was working. My till balanced better, things got shelved faster, and customers didn't have random bites out of them when there was no repetitive frenetic jazz.

I...may have been a chihuahua in a past life.

Ahhh, well usually with my permanently perforated ear drums you have to holler at me and throw bricks to make me jumpscare, but there are those occasions that sounds filter through and boom - shrieking ;)
