In light of this morning's surprise weather

I'm changing to this icon a bit early. Brrrr.

DH missed his connecting flight by two minutes and was stranded overnight at SeaTac. Alaska vouched him a hotel room and rebooked him on this AM's commuter flight--which was overrun. He was rebooked on standby for the 2:30 flight, the next one available was last of the day at 9:30. So he's on a shuttle bus, headed this way. The longer I'm an adult, the less I'm enchanted by surprise!snow.

Snow is pretty--after 40 years in Florida, I can appreciate the pretty--but I hate the temps that cause it, not to mention the potential for ice! The winter I was living in GK's garage, by the end of January, I was snarling at every flake that dropped from the sky. Only got a light dusting last winter, and I hope this year is moderate. I can't afford the heating bills!
