The best flist, ever!

Most of you know, OH is still in NC, caring for his brother in the terminal stages of cancer. Their mom died a couple of weeks ago, and so there's a lack of celebration this year.

He's an extraordinary man, I just have to say. I couldn't admire anybody more. And he remembered--

these arrived yesterday afternoon.

I want to thank everybody here who wished me happy--you all made me smile.

deanshot, stir_of_echoes, kalliel, milly_gal, supernutjapan, zara_zee, mickeym, madebyme_x, phoenix1966, and sylsdarkplace sent messages, jj1564 and herminekurotowa made 'Happy!' LJ posts, amberdreams, amypond45, milly_gal,junkerin, and roxymissrose left replies on my squee post yesterday. I got virtual gifts from meus_venator and roxymissrose, and a new userhead from meus_venator ! It's a hat! I figure it can be a cowboy hat, a straw gardening, or garden-party hat, or a 40s fedora, like Peggy Carter! A very versatile hat which is a lot of fun, and which will make me smile and make up stories and scenarios every time I log in to LJ.

If I missed anybody I apologize--I loved every message, every mention, and every one of you. Thank all of you fabulous flisties so much for bringing the happy and the celebration--it's deeply appreciated!

Thanks, you. Yes, he's pretty wonderful, and I've missed him terribly. But I'm not sure I could do what he's doing. He's got the bad end of the deal, this time.
