saw Civil War again
Jun. 7th, 2016 06:11 pmthis afternoon. I achieved my goal of finding it in a theater that's deeper, screen to seat, than the one where we saw it first. Our seat tier was higher, as well, which gave a much better perspective on the screen. The video was possibly clearer, plus, of course, we knew what was happening. Anyhow, it was thoroughly enjoyable, especially after reading various meta and theory on characters and story.
In other news, the thermometer says it's cooler today than yesterday. I suspect the thermometer is lying. If it wasn't for the shortening of the daylight, I'd be eager for October, ITYW. And in other, other news, supper this evening will be a bowl of steamed broccoli served with coarse sea salt, because it's too damned hot for meat or starch. There may be ice cream after. Or popsicles.
